Gates of Erebus: Dark Paranormal Short Stories is a collaboration of some of the best indie authors from around the world. All proceeds from sales of this anthology will be donated to a global charity. Our first charity is Reading is Fundamental.

Herein are the tales of a mother condemned for witchcraft; a demon who shows up in the oddest of places; a soldier who leaves you wondering who really is the monster; a crumbling mutant and a would-be assassin; a murderous imp and a story darker than a murderer’s heart; one man’s escape from Hell and the hell hounds that pursue him; a house haunted by more than just ghosts; a supernatural race born to keep the world of good and evil in balance; the devolution of the human race; and Death takes a wife.
Dream Weaver Novels has gathered some of the world’s best indie authors to bring you this dark anthology. So, grab your hot chocolate (or coffee) and your fuzzy warm blanket, and sit back and relax with these tales of horror…oh, you might want to check the locks on all your doors and windows first!

Cover reveal ~ Revised Edition
"M.C.V. Egan twists truth and fiction until you question your perceptions...it is a story of real love, triumph and search for self." - Beckah Boyd @ The Truthful Tarot On August 15th, 1939, an English passenger plane from British Airways Ltd. crashed in Danish waters between the towns of Nykøbing Falster and Vordingborg. There were five casualties reported and one survivor. Just two weeks before, Hitler invaded Poland. With the world at the brink of war, the manner in which this incident was investigated left much open to doubt. The jurisdiction battle between the two towns and the newly formed Danish secret police created an atmosphere of intrigue and distrust. The Bridge of Deaths is a love story and a mystery. Fictional characters travel through the world of past life regressions and information acquired from psychics as well as archives and historical sources to solve "one of those mysteries that never get solved." Based on true events and real people, The Bridge of Deaths is the culmination of 18 years of sifting through conventional and unconventional sources in Denmark, England, Mexico and the United States. The story finds a way to help the reader feel that s/he is also sifting through data and forming their own conclusions. Cross The Bridge of Deaths into 1939, and dive into cold Danish waters to uncover the secrets of the G-AESY.

ABOUT THE AUTHORM.C.V. Egan is the pen name chosen by Maria Catalina Vergara Egan. Catalina was born in Mexico City, Mexico in 1959, the sixth of eight children, in a traditional Catholic family. From a very young age, she became obsessed with the story of her maternal grandfather, Cesar Agustin Castillo--mostly the story of how he died. She spent her childhood in Mexico. When her father became an employee of The World Bank in Washington D.C. in the early 1970s, she moved with her entire family to the United States. Catalina was already fluent in English, as she had spent one school year in the town of Pineville, Louisiana with her grandparents. There she won the English award, despite being the only one who had English as a second language in her class. In the D.C. suburbs she attended various private Catholic schools and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland in 1977. She attended Montgomery Community College, where she changed majors every semester. She also studied in Lyons, France, at the Catholic University for two years. In 1981, due to an impulsive young marriage to a Viking (the Swedish kind, not the football player kind), Catalina moved to Sweden where she resided for five years and taught at a language school for Swedish, Danish, and Finnish businesspeople. She then returned to the USA, where she has lived ever since. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Swedish. Maria Catalina Vergara Egan is married and has one son who, together with their five-pound Chihuahua, makes her feel like a full-time mother. Although she would not call herself an astrologer she has taken many classes and taught a few beginner classes in the subject. She celebrated her 52nd birthday on July 2nd, 2011, and gave herself self-publishing The Bridge of Deaths as a gift. Find M.C.V. Egan and The Bridge of Deaths atwww.thebridgeofdeaths.com.

Tagged by a blogger!

So it seems I have been tagged by another author blogger.  She is a fabulous artist and blogger by the name of Agy Wilson.  You can see her amazing work on her blog at http://www.agywilson.com/blog/

I have been asked to answer tour questions, so here they are:

1. What am I working on?   This is a pretty loaded question.  I am working on several projects right now with my co-author Pie.  I have also picked up another co-author, Cisco that everyone will be meeting pretty soon. He is a friend of Pie's so I'm sure everyone will love him.  He is quite the cool fellow.

2. How does my work differ from other work in the genre?  Well, that is an easy one to answer. Most of my work is co-authored by a very pushy, geriatric old horse by the name of PIe.  He has pretty much all the say in everything we publish. Most people when they write in this genre, write about horses not with them using the horse to tell the story. It is an interesting career let me tell you.

3.Why do I write what I do?  I guess you could say I am possessed by the horse name Pie. No, I did not make a mistake, I did not mean to say obsessed, but I guess it is also a pretty accurate description.  It is really hard to resist those big brown eyes!

4. How does my writing process work?  First the story comes to me in my head. I mull it around for awhile, trying different scenarios.  I go to the barn and discuss it with the old horse.  He has his contributions and we go from there. Llke I said before, he has final say in it all.

Pie and I would like to take this time to thank everyone for the wonderful support you have provided us in 2013. Pie An Old Brown Horse (That Knows What He is Doing) has had an amazing year. The book actually came out in the last part of 2012.  By February, he already had over 20 5 Star reviews. In May, he had a 5 Star From Reader's Favorite. By July, he had over 30 5 Star Reviews.  In August he was named a finalist in an International Book contest and by October, he had won a silver medal in the above mentioned contest. In November, Kandy Kay Scaramuzzo was named as a finalist in the 50 Great Writers You Should be Reading Contest. By December, Kandy Kay Scaramuzzo was named as a winner in the 50 Great Reader's Contest.  Over this past year, Pie and I have done over 29 author interviews and blog posts and six book signings. He has been a very busy old horse.
None of this would have been possible without the support of Pie's fans. Thanks so much and have a wonderful New Year!

Kandy Kay Scaramuzzo 2 seconds agoPie wanted to send wonderful Christmas Wishes to everyone! He rearranged the Christmas stockings to suit him. He turned Doc's to naughty and Lola's to nice. He apparently didn't like the way we had them arranged. Merry Christmas from Pie!
